This item will be fully insured and packed carefully, including being padded, fully enclosed in plastic bags, and sandwiched between 1/4 closed-cell foam boards for extra shock protection. I have had the fortune of having several of these banner sets to offer for sale over the last month or so, and this is the last one. This is a new old stock advertising banner from an old JD dealership. Each sign is linked by white fabric ribbon as shown in photos. This banner was never displayed nor removed from the box before now. Since the tape seals were already broken, I decided to very carefully open it to show you. Had the seals been intact, I would have left them. Please note that in the third photo you can see where some clear packing tape is in contact with one of the signs inside the package. I have not attempted to remove it so the sign wouldnt get damaged any more. You can see that a small amount of the tape already did come off of the sign. Im not sure how old this item is. Other items found with this were dated in the 1940s and 50s. The presence of the Van Brunt Drill sign and four-legged deer should indicate that this item is from before 1960. The largest signs in here (showing the four-legged deer logo) measure about 2×2 feet. The smaller ones are different sizes but generally about 12×12 inches. The box that this item is in has some of of the original tape seal from Chicago Show Printing Company. The packing tape and signs feel somewhat dried out and brittle. Some signs have very faint stains from spending decades pressed up against each other those stains would probably not be seen from ten feet away. These were stored in a dry location so theres very little chance of water damage and I dont think thats what the stains are. Some signs and white fabric ties show minor edge wear. This item will be extremely well packaged and fully insured because its a treasure. If you want me to send you more photos let me know what you want to see. Allow 24 hours for a reply.
