Old JOHN DEERE Metal Advertising Thermometer NOTHING RUNS LIKE A DEERE EX+ OLD
This listing is for an original, I believe 1952, John Deere advertising thermometer in collector quality condition. I have seen reproductions of this thermometer over the years, but this one is an original, with thicker metal than the copies. It was thick in dust which protected the bright color all of these years. The thermometer is not mint, but I would grade it a solid 9 out of 10 or higher. There are no dents of bends and it hangs flat against the wall. There are some minor areas of age so please look at photos closely. The thermometer measures 12-3/4 inches tall and 2-3/4 inches wide. You will notice that the numbers on the right side of the thermometer (Celsius) are green and the numbers on the left side (Fahrenheit) are black. The thermometer insert is glass. This is a real beauty collectors! The best I have ever seen.
