OTHER VINTAGE ANTIQUE JOHN DEERE ENAMEL METAL VERTICAL SIGN 48 INCH X 12 INCH. It was not displayed outside. It is a metal sign with an enamel coated image bearing that of the John Deere advertising style of the 1930s. Dimensions are 48″x12″. There are holes in the sign intentionally placed there for it to hang. I kept it indoors during the time I owned it. I cannot verify when it was made. I have no idea. Therefore, the images I have provided will be included as part of the item description. I pack my lanterns very carefully. My goal is to keep a 100% positive record on sending lanterns to my customers undamaged. As some of the lanterns I sell have irreplaceable components, this is a high priority for me. My lanterns are typically packed in multiple boxes within one box. For example, the globe is always packed in its own padded box. Like with Coleman in years past, I send my lanterns partially dis-assembled. Lantern vents are individually wrapped and bail handles (where applicable) are packed in cardboard sleeves to prevent them denting the fount (fuel tank). Finally, the lantern body itself is bubble wrapped and everything is surrounded in packing foam. THE BOXES ARE BIG, THE PACKAGING IS DETAILED, AND THE LANTERN IS FULLY INSURED FOR IT’S REPLACEMENT VALUE. I pack items extremely well to insure they make it safely to their destination.
