You are looking at a New in Box John Deere 1/8 Scale 1953 Model 70 Tractor made by Scale Models. This model was signed by Joseph L. Ertl on both the tractor and box. I have never seen another 70 with his signature, only a couple 4010’s that he signed. I bought this tractor new at the National Farm Toy Show in Dyersville, IA over 15 years ago. It is still in the original box along with the original scale models outer protective box. This is a very unique tractor. It also has the original paper insert stating it is not a riding toy. It does have one flaw/chip on the nose of the tractor, which it had when I bought it new. I took a picture so you can judge for yourself. It could be touched up fairly easy if desired.
