Vintage 1970’s John Deere Dealership “ENTRANCE” Sign… Vintage 1970’s John Deere Dealership “ENTRANCE” Sign. If you are a John Deere fanatic, this is something special that you should have in your collection. It’s a vintage 1970’s John Deere dealership “ENTRANCE” sign that used to tell customers where they could enter their local John Deere establishment. It has a couple of bumps, dents and bruises, but it’s original. The sign stands approximately 40 tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the sign. The meaty part of the sign is approximately 50″ long, 14″ high and another 4 1/2 in depth. If I was going to keep this, I would consider sand blasting the base and a majority of the sign, then repainting it in John Deere green. When done, I would proudly display this piece alongside my other special John Deere pieces. If you have some Vintage John Deere tractors and/or collectibles, but don’t have a RARE dealership sign… NOW is your chance.
