THIS SIGN HAS AWESOME COLORS & GREAT GRAPHICS THAT ARE SELDOM SEEN WITH THE 3 DIFFERENT BEST FARM BRANDS.. THIS SIGN DOES SHOW SOME LIGHT WEAR NEAR THE HOLES , BUT DISPLAYS VERY WELL. THIS SIGN MEASURE 11 3/4 AND IS ROUND AND WEIGHTS OVER 1 POUND 9 OUNCES AND IS MADE OF THICK PORCELAIN METAL. Please do your own research as vintage does not necessarily mean original. 1999 Tom Clark Gnome “John Deere Assembly Team” No. 67 Rare Piece Cairn signed by the artist. Here is a large Tom Clark Gnome scene of a John Deere Assembly Team. This creative and whimsical display piece has so many fun aspects to look at from every angle. The front side has the John Deere logo on the fence and a classic John Deere tractor being worked on by 3 gnomes. There is a stump that has a sign that says “Accounting & Finance” with rocks stacked on top. The tractor has a front wheel off and a wrench laying on top. The front gnome is holding the steering wheel about to attach it. The back boy gnome is holding a paint brush with classic green paint on it and is halfway done painting the tractor. The last girl gnome is sitting on a stump that has a sign that says “Marketing”. She is typing on a computer that says “Sales” on the screen. The base looks like a forest floor with acorns, leaves, dirt, tools, and parts littering the ground. There is a coin that is half hidden that says 1950 with a tractor and “John Deere M” written at the bottom. On top of that is a scroll that says, “Assembly Team, Made in North Carolina, 1999 -Tom Clark- 7550, 67 in a circle, Cairn”. The bottom of the figurine scene has felt on it. Approx 6″ tall x 9.5″ wide x 6 deep. Made in North Carolina. I do not see any chips or cracks. There is a rustic look to the piece and any rubs or wear of paint look intentional. This apparently was displayed at a local dealership to promote the brand. This cardboard diecut sign stands almost three feet tall. He is in fair condition with a repair to the chin and neck area along with some paper separation and faint color distortion. There are two white filler pieces that could be trimmed out to give it a better appearance in depth. Please use the provided photos to assist in your evaluation and a special note that the folded stand up leg on the rear is missing! Theres no denying that it looks great in front of a nice background! Estimated to be from the early 1970s era this Nostalgic piece would look great at your Tractor Supply company or even somewhere in the barn or milking parlor down on the old farm! Awesome advertising piece for the collection… Nice pick this weekend in Glastonbury, Ct. This is a Vintage Farm John Deere TRUE TEMPER GARDEN TOOLS METAL DISPLAY RACK SIGN! This is an original % complete sign in used condition found in Saint Louis, Mo from our #1 picker Big Dom this past week. This sign measures 48 X 6 1/8, weighs in at almost 4 lbs, pre-owned vintage wear, lite white paint left on very top, all clear tool names, great green color background, good/fine white lettering for its age(legible), with all original metal hooks (1 7/8 long) for your tools. Please note this display rack has the weeded hoe hanger(an original tool name on this sign). The newer retro models say grass shears. We speculate this baby is an original survivor of the late 50s-early 60s. Trader LousQuality is what we believe in!!! Stay safe and Enjoy.
