John Deere Tractor Hay Ride. Framed 30″ X 12″. IS: 3-15/16 x 21-7/8 ins. PS: 5-15/16 x 23-7/8 ins. Edition: 1,000 and 25 artist’s proofs. This is a hard to find print. Print is in very good condition, no damage to print or matting. It has been framed for many years, therefore frame is in “as is” condition and may have surface scuffs, light scratches and/or minor dings. Please see photos for full details these are estate finds/consignments.. Item may need to be dusted or cleaned. Framed Prints with glass are packed with a foam slab. Over glass and extra wrapping. These are ALWAYS INSURED. Comes from a smoke free, pet free home. I have given due diligence to the research. No chips or breaks, very good condition please see photos for full details. Many items are straight from an estate sale turned over for consignment and have not been clean and may need to be dusted and or cleaned. Please see photos for condition. This is a nice rare piece that I haven’t been able to find before. I have a few of her pieces listed from a friend collector of hers. These were only given to a handful of people that helped her at the 1997 Midwest Collectors’ Convention. He is in one of the pictures. The typed line at the very bottom explains. This open edition print by P. Buckley Moss is given with special thanks by Pat to those who volunteered their time to help run the 1997 P. Buckley Moss Midwest Collectors’ Convention. I believe both handwritten lines are original. She often resigned work for her friend “Roger” who owned all these works. Buckley Moss is one of America’s most prized living artists. An alumnus of New York’s prestigious Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, Pat Moss is a formally educated and accomplished artist, highly regarded by academics and collectors alike. In 1964 her husband’s work took the family to Waynesboro, in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where Moss came to know the Amish and Mennonite people who live in the Valley. Much impressed by their ethics of hard work, integrity and their love of family and the land, Pat Moss started to incorporate these people into her Valley paintings. She won her first major art award in 1967; the prize was a one-person exhibition. The exhibition was a sell-out and the success encouraged her to start seriously marketing her work. The uniqueness of her style and the warmth generated by her subject matter quickly won her wide-spread recognition. Working in watercolor, etching and silkscreen she is widely known in this country and also internationally. In 1990 she Has honored with an exhibition of 53 of her paintings and etchings at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum. Her art is represented in over 200 galleries. IS: 9-1/8 x 11-3/8 ins.
